Aurora Material Solutions Announces Acquisition of Reinier Plastics
The combined company will focus on initiatives that accelerate growth and deliver enhanced value to customers
STREETSBORO, OH – June 1, 2017 – Aurora Material Solutions, LLC, a leader in PVC compounds, announced today the acquisition of compounder Reinier Plastics, Inc. (Plastique Reinier Inc.) of Marieville, Quebec. The move marks Aurora Material Solutions’ continued commitment to offering the highest quality PVC products in the industry, backed by the finest customer service. Both companies differentiate themselves by providing innovative custom compounds with unparalleled lead times, exceptional quality, outstanding customer service and in-field technical support.

Specifically, the combined company will offer a wider range of custom PVC compounding capabilities, including the following products:
- Rigid PVC powders
- Rigid PVC pellets (cubes and hexcut)
- Clear, opaque, and colored flexible PVC with a variety of properties
- Rigid cellular PVC (AuroraLite™)
- Clear rigid PVC
- PVC/Acrylic pellets (AuroraShield™)
- Purge compounds
The acquisition also expands the combined company’s supply chain and manufacturing footprint, adding to their ability to quickly and efficiently supply customers with the products they need. The combined company operates three PVC compound production facilities across the United States and Canada in Marieville, Quebec, Welcome, North Carolina and Streetsboro, Ohio.
