Aurora Material Solutions Appoints Dave Smith as Regional Sales Manager

Dave Smith as regional sales manager – PVC & flexible engineered thermoplastic compounds for the Western region.February 27, 2024 – Aurora Material Solutions announces the appointment of Dave Smith as regional sales manager – PVC & flexible engineered thermoplastic compounds for the Western region.

In this role, Smith will be responsible for managing sales for PVC and flexible engineered thermoplastic compounds in Texas, California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. He will oversee existing accounts as well as strategize new business opportunities to drive growth that is aligned with the company’s vision and the execution of its business model.

Prior to joining Aurora Material Solutions, Smith worked for Amco Polymers/Ravago, where he most recently served as commercial technology manager and business development of E&E (electrical and electronics). He brings 25 years of industry experience from various sales and management roles at leading polymer companies, including Nexeo Solutions, SABIC and Celanese.

Smith earned a master’s in business administration from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.
