Aurora Material Solutions Appoints Senior Vice President of Operations

STREETSBORO, OH – January 10, 2018 – Aurora Material Solutions announces the appointment of Jeff Conard as senior vice president of operations. In his role, Jeff will execute the operations side of our growth strategy or value creation plan (VCP). His primary focus will be developing and executing an integrated manufacturing strategy.

Jeff will be responsible for all manufacturing sites, including: Streetsboro, Ohio; Welcome, North Carolina; Lunenburg, Massachusetts; and Marieville, Quebec. He will also manage the company’s supply chain functions, including capacity planning, inventory management, warehousing and logistics/freight.

Jeff brings strong leadership experience in multi-site operations to Aurora Material Solutions. In addition, he has a strong background in continuous improvement and operational excellence (Lean), and prior PE portfolio company experience.

Prior to joining Aurora Material Solutions, Jeff was with SWM International, where he was responsible for 10 manufacturing sites in the U.S., which included almost 1,000 employees and generated over $400 million in sales. Jeff joined SWM through his acquisition of Argotec from Wind Point Partners, where he was senior vice president of operations. Prior to that, Jeff held numerous leadership positions in manufacturing with Xcellerex, ITT, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Uormed Corp, Ciba Corning Diagnostics and Milipore. His early career and leadership started with the U.S. Navy.

Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley College.
