Aurora Material Solutions Breaks Ground for Streetsboro, Ohio Expansion

STREETSBORO, OH – August 4, 2022 – Aurora Material Solutions broke ground today for the expansion of its operations located in Streetsboro, Ohio. The expansion will allow the company to add to its thermoplastic compounding capabilities in rigid PVC, rigid PVC alloys and CPVC, providing room for more than 100 million pounds of new capacity.

The Streetsboro, Ohio, location is the company headquarters, and has an excellent track record on safety, operating for more than a year with no recordable incidents.

“Streetsboro operations are industry leading, incorporating sophisticated compounding assets and process controls. Streetsboro is also the location of our rigid-polymer technical center,” says Hughes.

Project completion is expected in the 4th quarter of 2023. This development complements capabilities at other Aurora Material Solutions facilities and expansions across the company’s extensive network. In addition to an increased footprint and additional capacity, the expansion will also create 30 new jobs in Streetsboro.
