Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has been in commercial production since 1933 and is one of the most widely used polymers in the world because of its versatility in a broad range of industrial, technical and everyday applications. PVC can be rigid, flexible, thick or thin.

Within the PVC category is rigid PVC, which offers a number of benefits as a low-maintenance, strong and lightweight compound used in a variety of applications – including where transparency and optical clarity are critical for the final application.

Rigid PVC provides a good balance of stiffness, impact resistance, UV stability (in outdoor opaque formulas) and more.
